Ford Model A Pickup Restoration October 2002

The weather is too cold for painting. This kind of job will be started again next spring. This is the reason why I started with the front and rear springs.

Because the front spring had not nice originally shape, I had to modify the corners.

I was not sure about how big the tension is. These are the tool I used for but in my case 2 fastening clamps would have been enough. But rather this way instead of a projectile which flies through the garage.

The rear spring is rusty but in a good shape. The remaining tasks will be made when the weather becomes warmer again.
